Southampton YMCA as a non-denominational Christian faith based organisation seeks to demonstrate the love of God through action, in and for the community of Southampton, with an emphasis on the empowerment of young people.
We believe in working in all areas of a person’s life, body, mind and spirit and that furthermore a person is not complete until the needs of all three areas are met.
To meet the spiritual needs of the young people with whom we work the Association maintains firm links with not only the Christian community of the City but also with other faiths and is also an active member of the Southampton Christian Action Network.
Our Chapel continues to offer a place for prayer and reflection, and is built into our daily programme, as a means of strengthening and inspiring all those in God’s kingdom.
